                    Nonetheless in any problems where there is no Kwaeng Court, the
                Provincial Court shall have the competency to try and adjudicate cases
                under the jurisdiction of the Kwaeng Court.

                    Cases in Provincial Courts are decided by the quorum of two judges.

                    In Bangkok, Courts of first instance dealing with civil cases are the
                Civil Court, the Civil Court of Southern Bangkok, the Thon Buri Civil
                Court, the Min Buri Provincial Court, the Taling Chun Provincial Court
                and the Prakanong Provincial Court. In other provinces, Provincial Courts
                try both criminal and civil cases.

                        Kwaeng Courts
                        Kwaeng courts are competent to try and adjudicate petty cases,
                and to inquire or to issue any order which is within the authority of a
                single  judge.   In  civil  cases,  Kwaeng  courts  are  competent  to  try  and
                adjudicate cases with the amount of money or value of property in dispute
                not exceeding 300,000 THB.

                        In Bangkok, there are the Northern Pranakorn Kwaeng Court, the
                Southern  Pranakorn  Kwaeng  Court,  the  Dusit  Kwaeng  Court,  the

                        6.1.1.1.2 The Specialized Courts
                        The  Specialized  Courts  consist  of  the  Labour  Court,  the  Tax
                Court, the Intellectual Property and International Trade Court, and the
                Bankruptcy Court.
                        The Labour Court

                        The Act for the Establishment of Labour Courts and Procedure
                for Labour Cases 1979 provides for the establishment of Central Labour
