Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) Student Exchange Program – Spring 2027

The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, is pleased to announce the Student Exchange Program for Spring 2027 at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST), Taiwan, offering eligible undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to study abroad for one semester or one academic year.

The program aims to enhance students' academic knowledge, international experience, and intercultural understanding through academic study and cultural exchange at STUST.

Selected exchange students will receive a tuition fee waiver throughout their exchange period. However, participants are responsible for all other expenses, including international travel, accommodation, health insurance, living expenses, and other personal costs.

Program: Student Exchange Program – Spring 2027
Exchange Period: April – September 2027 (Spring Semester)
Study Duration: One Semester or One Academic Year
Eligible Levels: Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Tuition Fee: Waived
Other Expenses: Self-funded by the student
CMU Nomination Quota: 2 Students per Academic Year

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following basic requirements:

1. Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at Chiang Mai University.

2. Have completed at least one academic year of study at their home university.

3. Have a good cumulative academic record (GPA).

4. Meet at least one of the following English language proficiency requirements:

   • IELTS: 5.0 or above

   • TOEIC: 650 or above

Applicants are encouraged to carefully review any additional eligibility and academic requirements specified by STUST before applying.

Required Application Documents

Interested students must prepare the following documents:

1. Application Form

2. Academic Transcript or Marks Sheet

3. Certificate of Enrolment from Home University

4. Health Certificate

5. Statement of Purpose (200 words)

6. Copy of Passport

7. ID Photo

Applicants should ensure that all required documents are complete, accurate, and prepared in accordance with the host university's application guidelines.

Important Information for ICDI Students

Interested ICDI students must submit their complete application documents to the ICDI International Relations Unit for internal review and nomination.

ICDI Internal Application Deadline: October 23, 2026, by 3:00 PM

Important Notes:

• Chiang Mai University may nominate a maximum of two (2) students per academic year.

• The ICDI internal deadline is earlier to allow sufficient time for document verification, internal consideration, and the subsequent university nomination process.

• Late or incomplete applications may not be considered.

• Submission of an application does not guarantee nomination or acceptance by the host university.
