Hirosaki University Student Exchange Program – Spring 2027

The International College of Digital Innovation (ICDI), Chiang Mai University, is pleased to announce the Hirosaki University Student Exchange Program for Spring 2027, offering undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to study in Japan for one semester or one academic year.

The program aims to enhance students' academic knowledge, international experience, and intercultural understanding through academic study and cultural exchange at Hirosaki University, Japan.

Selected exchange students will receive a tuition fee waiver throughout their exchange period. However, participants are responsible for all other expenses, including international travel, accommodation, health insurance, living expenses, and other personal costs.

Exchange Period: April – September 2027 (Spring Semester)
Study Duration: One Semester or One Academic Year
Eligible Levels: Undergraduate and Graduate Students
Tuition Fee: Waived
Other Expenses: Self-funded by the student

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet the following basic requirements:

1. Undergraduate students must have completed at least one academic year of study at their home university.

2. Graduate students must have completed at least one semester of study at their home university.

3. Have a good cumulative academic record (GPA).

4. Have sufficient English or Japanese language proficiency to communicate effectively and participate in classroom activities.

Applicants should ensure that all required documents are accurately completed and submitted in accordance with the host university's instructions.

Important Information for ICDI Students

Interested ICDI students must submit their complete application documents to the ICDI International Relations Unit for internal review and nomination.
