JASSO Scholarship Opportunity for Student Exchange at Toyo University, Japan (Spring 2026)
The scholarship aims to support outstanding undergraduate and graduate students from partner institutions who demonstrate strong academic performance and financial need, enabling them to participate in an exchange program at Toyo University during the Spring Semester 2026 (commencing in April 2026), for a duration of one semester up to one academic year.
Selected students will receive a monthly allowance of 80,000 JPY throughout the exchange period.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:

Be currently enrolled as a regular student at their home institution.

Demonstrate excellent academic performance with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.60 out of 3.00 (based on JASSO’s calculation criteria).

Show strong motivation and have a clear study plan in a field offered at Toyo University, with clear academic and personal benefits expected from the exchange in Japan.

Not receive any other scholarship exceeding 80,000 JPY per month, and must return to complete their studies at their home institution after the exchange. Credit transfer approval from the home university is also required.

Be officially nominated by their home institution, which must be a Toyo University partner.
