Kagawa University Sanuki Program 2027 – Call for Applications
Kagawa University, Japan, is now accepting applications for the Sanuki Program 2027, an exchange program designed to promote international academic cooperation and provide undergraduate and graduate students with an opportunity to study at Kagawa University.
The program offers an exchange period ranging from one semester to one academic year, with the Spring 2027 program beginning in April 2027. Selected exchange students will receive a tuition fee waiver from Kagawa University. However, participants are responsible for all other expenses associated with the exchange, including travel, accommodation, meals, insurance, and personal expenses.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student at their home university.
- Have completed at least one academic year of study at their home university.
- Not be in the final semester of their degree program during the exchange period.
- Meet any additional eligibility and academic requirements specified by Kagawa University.
Required Application Documents
Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:
- Form A: Application for Certificate of Eligibility (COE) – Excel file, together with a JPEG photograph (40 mm × 30 mm)
- Form B: Application to Enroll as Exchange Student (Special Auditing Student)
- Form C: Letter of Guarantee
- Form D: Study Plan / Essay on Things to Learn from the Sanuki Program – describing the applicant’s study plan and interests related to the Japanese language and Kagawa Prefecture
- Form E: Curriculum Vitae – including educational history from elementary school onwards, together with a photograph (4 cm × 3 cm)
- Form F: Certificate of Health – issued in Thai or English within the past six months
Applicants should carefully review all application forms and program requirements and ensure that the submitted information is complete and accurate.
Important Information for ICDI Students
Interested ICDI students who wish to participate in the program must submit their complete application documents to the ICDI International Relations Unit for internal review and nomination.
ICDI Internal Application Deadline:
September 23, 2026, by 3:00 PM
Applicants are strongly encouraged to prepare their documents in advance. Applications received after the ICDI internal deadline may not be considered for nomination.
