UNESCO-AI Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)

UNESCO is inviting member countries to nominate candidates for the UNESCO-AI Fozan International Prize for the Promotion of Young Scientists in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). This prize, held every two years, is supported by the AI Fozan Foundation (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) and aims to recognize five outstanding young scientists, under the age of 40, from five designated UNESCO regions. These individuals must have dedicated themselves to research, education, or scientific collaboration, particularly in STEM fields. Each recipient will be awarded $50,000 USD. The Office of the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education encourages interested applicants to submit a nomination package, including a biography, summary of key achievements, published work, supporting documents, and a description of how the candidate’s contributions align with the award’s objectives. The submission, along with a cover letter from the applicant's affiliated institution, must be in either English or French and sent to the Ministry of Education via email at ajjimak@sueksa.go.th (Coordinator: Miss Atjima Kaweeyan, Senior International Relations Officer, Tel. 08 5342 6970).

Nominations must be informed to CMU International Relations Division no later than February 20, 2025, to ensure timely processing and submission to the Ministry of Education.
