to not less than 90 days severance pay.
- Employees who have worked for 3-6 years are entitled to 180
days severance pay
- Employees with 6-10 years of services will receive 240 days
severance pay
- Employees who have been employed for 10-20 years will
receive 300 days’ pay
- Employees who have been employed for more than 20 years
will receive 400 days’ pay
This provision does not apply to the case of an employee whose
employment is for a definite period and employment is terminated at the

end of that period .
The employers do not have to pay severance pay to the employee
when the employment is terminated upon the following conditions
1. The employee performs their duty dishonestly or
intentionally commit a criminal offence against the
employer.
2. The employee wilfully cause damage to the employer temp.
3. The employee commits negligent acts causing serious
damages to the employer.
4. The employee violates work rules, regulations or orders of
the employer, which is lawful and just, and the employer has
already warned the employees, except in case of a serious
violation.
5. The employee abandons his/her work for three consecutive
days without any justifiable reasons.
6. The employee has been sentenced by a final court judgment
