- work which is occasional with a definite ending
- work which is seasonal and the employment is made during
the season
Such work shall be completed within a period not exceeding two
years.
The employer shall make a written contract with the employee at the

beginning of the employment .
If the employment contract does not specify any duration, either party
can set an agreement to terminate the contract by giving notice at or before

any time of payment which will be effective in the next pay period .
An employee can be dismissed without prior notice and receive
compensation from the employer in the following cases
- the employee wilfully disobeys arbitrarily and neglects the
lawful commands of his employer
- the employee absents himself from service
- the employee is guilty of gross misconduct
- the employee acts in a manner incompatible with the due and

faithful discharge of his duty
4.1.9 Severance Pay
In case of termination of employment (the case when the employer
refuses to allow an employee to work), because the employment contract
comes to an end or for any other reason, including the case when the
employer is unable to continue the business, the employee is entitled to
severance pay. Such pay varies in accordance with the duration of
employment.
- Employees who have worked for at least 120 days but less
than one year is entitled to 30 days severance pay.
- Employees who have worked between 1-3 years are entitled
