Chung-Ang University Exchange Program – Fall Semester 2026
Chiang Mai University, through the International Relations Division, has received an announcement from Chung-Ang University, Republic of Korea, regarding the Exchange Program for Fall Semester 2026.
The program aims to provide undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to study abroad through course-based exchange for one semester, scheduled between September and December 2026.
Students selected for the exchange program will receive a tuition fee waiver from the host university, while all other expenses—including travel, accommodation, and personal costs—will be the responsibility of the participants.
Applicant Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must not be in their final semester of study
- Minimum GPA of 2.00/4.50 or 75/100
- Must demonstrate English language proficiency, equivalent to:
- TOEFL iBT: 80 / PBT: 550 / CBT: 210
- IELTS: 5.5 or higher
Required Application Documents
Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:
- Online Application Form (after official nomination by the home university)
- Copy of Passport (valid for at least 6 months beyond the program period)
- Official Academic Transcript (in English)
(Thai students must have the document certified via Apostille or consular legalization)
- Bank Balance Certificate (in English)
- Minimum: USD 12,000 per year or USD 6,000 per semester
- Must be issued within 30 days prior to application
- Digital Passport-size Photo (3.5 x 4.5 cm, white background)
- Tuberculosis (TB) Test Result (in English or Korean; required upon dormitory check-in)
