Kansai University Student Exchange Program – Spring 2027
Kansai University, Japan, is now accepting applications for its Student Exchange Program for Spring 2027, offering eligible undergraduate and graduate students an opportunity to study in Japan as exchange students.
Selected students will receive a tuition fee waiver from Kansai University. However, participants are responsible for all other expenses associated with the exchange, including travel, accommodation, health insurance, living expenses, and other personal costs.

Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following basic requirements:
- Be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student and have completed at least one semester of study at their home university.
- Students in the final year of their degree program are not eligible to apply.
- Have sufficient Japanese or English language proficiency to participate in the program.
Applicants without Japanese language proficiency must meet at least one of the following minimum English language requirements:
- GTEC: 260
- TOEFL ITP: 505
- TOEFL iBT: 30
- TOEIC: 580
- IELTS: 5.0
- CEFR: B1
Applicants should carefully review the specific academic and language requirements of their intended program before applying.
Important Information for ICDI Students
Interested ICDI students must prepare the required application documents and submit their complete application to the ICDI International Relations Unit for internal review and consideration.
ICDI Internal Application Deadline:
October 2, 2026, by 3:00 PM
Applicants are advised to submit complete and accurate documents within the specified deadline to allow sufficient time for ICDI and Chiang Mai University to complete the required internal procedures.
