Universiti Brunei Darussalam Exchange Program – Semester 1, Academic Year 2026/2027
Chiang Mai University, through the International Relations Division, has received an announcement from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei Darussalam, regarding the Student Exchange Program for Semester 1 of the Academic Year 2026/2027. The program will take place from 31 August 2026 to 17 January 2027.
The program offers undergraduate students the opportunity to enroll in courses based on their academic interests and strengths. Students selected for the exchange program will receive a tuition fee waiver from the host university, while all other expenses, including travel, accommodation, and personal costs, will be the responsibility of the participants.
Applicant Qualifications
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be an undergraduate student who has completed at least one academic year of study
- Must be officially nominated by their home university
- Minimum CGPA of 2.50 (on a 4.00 scale) or 3.00 (on a 5.00 scale)
- Must provide proof of English proficiency, such as:
- IELTS: 6.0 or higher
- TOEFL (Paper-based): 550 or higher
- TOEFL iBT: 79 or higher
- or other equivalent qualifications accepted by UBD
- Must hold a passport valid for at least 6 months from the date of departure from Brunei after program completion

- Scanned Passport Biographical Page
- Latest Academic Transcript
- English Proficiency Test Score
