Preface

After one year of researching on the Thail legal frameworks composing of
act, decree, notification, and government policies, the authors have
formulated a book to provide details for readers who are interested in
learning about Thai investment law and policy. Law on investment and
businesses in Thailand have evolved to keep up with the changing business
circumstances. The authors have researched into laws and regulation on
foreign investment, land, taxation, labour, and arbitration. The presentation
on the different angles of laws from the research is purported to provide
readers with a clearer legal view for investment and doing business in
Thailand. The authors hope that this small academic work will encourage
greater investment in Thailand.
